About Us!

For 55 years we were a combined group of three neighborhoods. It
was called the Green Valley Townhouse Association, Inc. and was
one of the very first HOA's in Green Valley. It was incorporated in
the State of Arizona in 1964 by the Maxon Company - the original
developer. It remained that way until November of 1966 when
there were enough residents to take over the operation of the
Association as a 55+ community.

Townhouses 1,2,and 5 were among the original neighborhoods in
Green Valley, featuring adobe territorial style townhomes. In late
2018, there was an effort to see if there were any objections to
splitting the HOA up. It was felt that it was extremely difficult to
get people to come forth and run the organization. This was in
part due to the differing needs of the three neighborhoods.

It was decided by the Board to have a vote and see what our
members thought. With due process, a vote was scheduled. The
results came in and it was found that the HOA could be broken up
Legally, and three new HOA's set up. This was completed during
2019. We hope that this change will help each neighborhood to
do what is needed to maintain their homes as they would like to
have them.
